Cookies Policy

How FlipFinder uses cookies and similar technologies.

Last updated: 17 April 2026

This document is available in English and Arabic. If there is any difference between the two versions, the English version prevails.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember who you are, what you did, and your preferences. Some cookies expire when you close your browser; others stay until they reach a defined expiry or until you delete them.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies only for what the service genuinely needs. We do not run third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your browsing behaviour. The categories below describe every cookie and similar technology currently in use.

3. Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the site to work. Without them, you cannot sign in or use core features.

better-auth.session_tokenKeeps you signed in to your FlipFinder account.Expiry: 30 days

4. Functional

These cookies remember choices you make to improve your experience.

flipfinder-filtersSaves your deal-feed filter settings across visits (stored in localStorage, not a cookie; listed here for transparency).Expiry: Until you reset filters
NEXT_LOCALERemembers the language you chose, English or Arabic.Expiry: Session

5. Analytics and performance

We use Sentry for error and performance monitoring. Sentry drops a small cookie only when an error occurs on your session so we can group related events. It does not build an advertising profile of you.

sentryReplaySessionTies a single session's errors together for debugging.Expiry: Session

6. Third-party cookies

When you use paid features, Stripe sets its own cookies during checkout to secure the payment flow. Their use is governed by Stripe's privacy and cookie policies. We do not control these cookies.

7. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Search your browser's help for “cookies” to find instructions. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and some features from working.

You can also wipe our functional storage any time by opening the feed and choosing “Reset all filters” in the sidebar.

8. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry-wide standard for honouring it. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising, so this signal has no effect on the cookies listed above.

9. Changes to this policy

If we add, remove, or change cookies, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we will also notify signed-in users by email.
